Normandy: Caen, the landing beaches and Bayeux – 3 DAYS

First day :

Spend your first day in Caen with a visit to the Memorial and the museums located within the walls of the feudal castle.

Lovers of books, old and new, will enjoy the city center bookstores and book markets.

Gourmets will turn to some excellent tables.

Second day :

In the morning, don’t miss a visit to the Abbaye-aux-Hommes in Caen, before heading for the coast and the landing beaches.

From Ouistreham, 14 km from Caen, cross Sword Beach, Juno Beach, Gold Beach and Omaha Beach. Spend the night in Bayeux.

Third day :

In Bayeux, don’t miss the cathedral and the beautiful 11th century tapestry evoking the conquest of England by William the Conqueror.

Normandy: sports stay in Suisse Normande – 2 DAYS

First day :

Straddling the departments of Orne and Calvados, to the south of the plain of Caen, Normandy Switzerland offers a perfect playground for nature lovers and sports enthusiasts (hiking, cycling, kayaking, climbing, etc.).

Choose this 1st day for a descent of the Orne by kayak from Thury-Harcourt or Clécy.

Second day :

Leave the ground behind to embark on a free flight from the Route des Crêtes in Saint-Omer, the Bunel rock in Thury-Harcourt or Saint-Marc-d’Ouilly.

Normandy: Mont-Saint-Michel – 3 DAYS

First day :

Do not miss a visit to the abbey, Wonder of the West, and the small surrounding museums.

Do not hesitate to leave the Grande-Rue for an ascent outside the crowd, closer to the spirituality of the place.

Second day :

The discovery of the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel, on foot, by bike or by horse-drawn carriage. For example, you can reach Pontorson on foot, along the banks of the Couesnon.

Third day :

In Bayeux, don’t miss the cathedral and the beautiful 11th century tapestry evoking the conquest of England by William the Conqueror.

Normandy: cheeses, cider and Calvados in the Pays d’Auge – 2 DAYS

First day :

Discover the know-how of cider and calvados producers at the Domaine Cœur-de-Lion, or at the Château du Breuil, and enter the heart of the Normandy cheese-making workshops by exploring the Fromagerie Graindorge – Le Village Fromager.

Second day :

Visit the Fromagerie Durand, in Camembert, to rediscover the taste of a traditional cheese, the Château de Canon for its superb gardens and its organic cider, without forgetting the old-fashioned market in Cambremer, on Sundays in July-August, and the country market in Lisieux, also on Sundays.
