The company VAN-IT sas in its capacity as data controller undertakes to respect its obligations in terms of the protection of personal data. It uses data responsibly and confidentially.

This privacy policy applies to the processing of personal data carried out by VAN-IT sas via its website www.VAN-IT.fr which are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation n ° 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (RGPD) and the Law known as “Informatique et Libertés” n ° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended.

VAN-IT sas processes the personal data received directly from the user in order to carry out the measures prior to or necessary for the conclusion of the rental contract offered by VAN-IT sas or the companies in its franchise network.
Data collected/purposes
The categories of data collected and processed are as follows: surname, first name, telephone, email, postal address.
Failing to provide this data, VAN-IT sas will not be able to provide the rental service requested.
In addition, this data can be used to inform users and customers of new promotions and information related to the VAN-IT franchise network and to send them the network’s newsletter, except when exercising the right of opposition.

Data recipients

The data is processed by the only authorized personnel of VAN-IT sas.
The data will also be communicated to the company of the VAN-IT network then acting as data controller in order to execute the rental contract and make the rented vehicle available to the data subject.
The data controller may also be required to communicate the processed data to third parties to meet its legal and regulatory obligations or to respond to requests from legally authorized authorities.

The duration of the conversation

The data collected is kept for the duration of the execution of the contractual relationship and for 3 years if the person concerned has not exercised his right of opposition.
In addition, the data collected via cookies is kept for 13 months from the date of deposit on the computer or the site consultation terminal.
At the end of this period, VAN-IT erases the data subject to legal or regulatory obligations requiring it to archive them.

2- Rights of the people whose data is processed

VAN-IT undertakes to send a response within one month of receipt of the request. Depending on the complexity or the number of requests, this period may be extended by two months.
If users believe that their data is not being processed in accordance with the applicable regulations, they can file a complaint with the National Commission for Computing and Liberties (CNIL).
