  • Start your trip at Etretat, unique french shoreline town, known for its breathtaking cliffs which surround its shingle beach
  • Head off then for Deauville, with its luxury hotels, its casino and marina, and Honfleur, charming harbour village, known for its picturesque alleys, its slate roof houses and its rich cultural and artistic heritage
  • Continue your journey toward the D-Day landing beaches, beginning by the unmissable Caen memorial, to finish at Utah Beach and the D-Day landing museum
  • Head down for the fabulous bay of Mont St Michel
  • End your journey in the beautiful Vallée de la Loire and take time to visit its beautiful castles (Chambord, Amboise…) and make a few wine tastings

In 10 days

 

  • Begin your exploration of the Atlantic Coast with Carnac in France’s Celtic land of legend, and go observe its mysterious menhirs
  • Make a stopover at Sables d’Olonne, charming coastal town, arrival of the Vendée Globe, with its beautiful beaches and its 2 casinos
  • Reach then chic La Rochelle, to enjoy lavish seafood and explore l’Ile de Ré kilometers of sand beaches
  • Keep driving south to Bordeaux region and wine your way through its uncountable vineyards, in particular at St-Emilion to enjoy among the best wines in the world
  • Further south, relax on Arcachon’s beaches and take the occasion to climb the impresive Dune du Pyla, highest sand dune in Europe
  • Go check your surf level at Mimizan plage or choose instead to jump out of a plane at the dropzone
  • End your journey on the Basque coast in beautifl and stylish Biarritz, just before spanish border, where you will find an amazing gastronomy and will enjoy great beaches and some of the best surf spots in the world

In 2 weeks - Atlantic Coast

  • Start your adventure in Avignon, vibrant cultural city with its annual festival and its long popes related history. Don’t miss the famous Pont d’Avignon.
  • Make a stopover at Pont du Gard and reach Nîmes endowed with a rich hisory related to the roman empire, visit its superb amphiteatre Les arènes and try to be there for its annual férias (festival)
  • Go back to nature, observing the beautiful, Gorges du Tarn and wander around, canoeing or cycling
  • Keep going toward the rich Vallée de la Dordogne, cradle of humanity, discovering beautiful landscapes, delicious dishes, uncountable outdoor activites and among the most charming french villages like Collonges-la-Rouge with its red-wall houses, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie or Rocamadour
  • Try the amazing french gastronomy of Perigord at Sarlat la Caneda and its duck and trufles specialties
  • End your journey in Lascaux, known for its caves hiding among the most extraordinary prehistoric paintings ever found

In 2 weeks - The South of France

  • Start your adventure on the D-Day Landing beaches at Caen, spend a couple days at Mont st Michel, reach the atlantic coast at Carnac and head down to La Rochelle. Go inland to visit prehistoric sites of the Vézère Valley, eventually reach Périgord to admire beautiful Gorges du Tarn and finish your way down at Avignon. Head back up to Paris making a stopover at dynamic Lyon and then in Bourgogne region,  rich for its vineyards, with Beaune, Dijon and Vézelay.
