Découvrez les alentours de Lille en van aménagé

20 April 2022
lille

No need to go very far, our first favorite is obviously the Opal Coast, 1 hour from Lille, with its immense beaches, its wild dunes and cliffs and its magnificent seaside villages. Kitesurfers, windsurfers, hikers, cyclists… there will be something for everyone.

Kiters and windsurfers will find fabulous spots there. We never get tired of it, word of kiters.

Hikers and cyclists will not have enough time to explore all that is possible (we still haven’t finished in 20 years). Walk or cycle while taking full eyes, it is guaranteed..

A short sand yachting session… “What! It’s already over !!? This is what you will say. Promise! So many things to do…

And believe us, we know what we’re talking about! And we will be happy to share our experiences with you.

Take the time to stroll from the Grand Place to the Old Lille district, with its colorful facades and charming shops. The old Lille is really to be seen.

For some, a detour to the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, the second largest museum in France after the Louvre for the richness of its collections, but also the M in Villeneuve d’Ascq, an exceptional museum of modern and contemporary art.

You can also stroll through the gardens of the Cavrois villa in Croix. A must-see architectural work by the architect Mallet STEVENS. And many other places of culture, difficult to list here.

Are you hungry after that? Thirst ? Take a break to discover the specialties of the North in an estaminet to taste the potjevleesch, Flemish carbonade, welsh, gigantic pork ribs (advice: take the dish for children…)!

And finally: the beer! The best way to introduce you to this jewel of the North will be to let you taste (in moderation) a good craft beer before your departure!

As you have noticed, we are very connected to the Opal Coast. That said, Lille is also a good starting point, towards other horizons such as Belgium, Holland, in short, the other side…

Whatever your desires, there is plenty to do a road trip in a camper van from Lille!

Have a good trip… in a van!

If you can’t wait to discover France by van, don’t wait any longer! Go choose your campervan, and make your reservation quickly for your next vacation.
