How do I get to your depot to pick-up my van ?

First of all, contact us before if you don’t have a pre-arranged appointment with us.
You have to do your reservation by email or phone before you come.

The adress of the parisian depot is : 21 rue Massenet, 94190 Villeneuve Saint Georges.

It’s very easy to come. Villeneuve St Georges train station is on the line D of the RER. From Gare de Lyon (Paris), it’ll take you 11 minutes !
Then, in front of the train station, catch the bus J1 or J2 for 5 minutes till the stop “Massenet” (ask the driver). You’re now at the end of the road ! Just gotta reach the number 21.

The adress of the Toulouse's depot is : 1 allée de la Tinée, 31770 Colomiers

To get there you just need to take the TER from Toulouse to Colomiers for 20 minutes and we'll pick you up at the train station.

What's the minimum age to rent a van VAN-IT ?

You have to be minimum 21 and hold a driving license for at least 2 years.

What kind of vans are the VAN-IT ?

The vans you rent are Volkswagen T4 California.
They run on diesel fuel and consume very little. (7-8 L/100km).
They have manual transmission and are  left hand drive. They are well maintained and offer a real driving pleasure.

How many kilometers can I do with a full tank ?

A full tank will cost you aproximatively  60 euros and will allow you to do 800 Km (if you drive reasonably of course !)

Where can I park overnight with my van ?

Almost everywhere ! French law isn’t so bad concerning overnight parking.
Altough, locals laws apply and sometimes it’s not allowed to park anywhere to take a nap ! Remember that you will be responsible for every fine you get!
You can park as well in all the camping areas you’ll find all along the road.

Are the vans equiped with heat,electricity ?

All our vans are equiped with auxiliary heat (running on the gazole). It means you'l stay warm even with the engine stopped.
For all your electronic devices, you can use the 2 auxiliary batteries (independant from the engine battery), which avoids waking-up with an empty battery.
Finally, inside plugs allow you to have 220 V by connecting to an outside plug (camping for ex.)

Is it a problem if I have a foreign driving license ?

Not at all ! As long as you’re more than 21 and that you have your driving license for at least 2 years, there’s no problem to rent a van.
Obviously you have to have a clean driving license..
Each driver has to show his driving license the pick-up day.

Is there a kilometer limit ?

For a booking of 2 days, you get a package of 1000 km and for 3 days 1500 km.
From 4 days hiring, you get 300 km a day.
You have then 2100 km to enjoy yourself if you rent the van for a week!
After that, you’ll pay a complementary rate by km.

How many people can travel in a VAN-IT ? ?

We’ve got 2 kind of vans : 2 people or 4 people
In the 2 people vans, you have 2 seats at the front and a confortable bed for 2 at the back, that you get by folding the 2 back seats.
In the 4 people vans, you have 2 seats at the front and 2 seats at the back. At night the 2 back seats fold to create a bed for 2. The roof surelevates to create an other bed for 2.
All our vans come with a full camping equipment for 2 or 4 persons.

How do I make a booking?

To make a booking you first have to do an enquiry on our website.
We will then check the availibility of the vehicles and send you back a summary of your request.
You can then confirm your reservation by paying the 30 % deposit via our website and our secured partner, the bank CIC. We will not have, at any moment, your personal bank informations all along the payment process.

You can choose as well to pay by phone. In this case, one of our friendly staff will make the deposit payment directly with you.

Do I get my money back if I want to cancel ?

If you decide to cancel, you will get all your money back if you decide to cancel at least 45 days before the day of the departure.
Between 45 and 30 days before the departure, 50% of the money paid will be kept.
Between 30 days and the departure date, all the money paid will be kept.

What do I need to bring the pick-up day ?

The driver has to bring an ID, his driving license and a credit card on his name. The details of the credit card wil be kept only if the vehicule is damaged, returned dirty or without a full tank and finally in case you received fines on the road.

You also need to bring bedding with you as we do not provide sheets. (You can hire sheets and blankets or sleeping bags in option)

Is the insurance included in the price ?

Yes. The insurance is calculated automatically depending on the age of the driver.

What happens if the van breaks down ?

You’ll just have to call the assistance number we’ll give you and they’ll take care of everything !
You also have to call us within 24 hours to let us know.

Is there a minimum hiring period ?

Yes. The minimum hiring period is 2 days.

I've submitted an enquiry via the online form and I still don't have an answer. What do I do ?

All enquiries are dealt manually by our staff. You should have an answer very soon but if you feel like the time is anormally long, don’t hesitate to contact us by email or call us directly.

In which countries can I travel with the vans ?

The vans are covered by insurance and assistance in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, France, United Kingdom, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia. Good Travel !
